Introducing this Practice Note HHJ Parker, DFJ for Cheshire and Merseyside said “Concerns have been expressed to me in the past about the variable quality of section 37 reports in Cheshire and Merseyside.
As a result, I asked a working group headed by Felicity Flemming and HHJ Bond to prepare a section 37 report template and draft direction for the same which I now publish through the attached Practice Note.
There was involvement of representatives from all nine local authorities, the legal profession, judiciary, and Cafcass.
These templates should be used by all local authorities henceforth.“Download
